Hong Kong – Asia Broadcast Satellite (ABS) has appointed Willy Chow as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Samuel Wong as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

In his new position, Chow will spearhead commercial activities and will work closely with the Chief Development Officer on business development initiatives and CFO on financing activities. Chow previously served as the company’s CFO.

Meanwhile, as the new CFO, Wong will be responsible for the overall finance and accounting functions and will be working closely with other department heads to drive efficiency and create shareholder value for the company. He has over 25 years of experience in financial management and a strong track record in corporate finance, investment projects and financial controllership.

Prior to joining ABS, Wong had worked as CFO and EVP at the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing, Finance Director at Hutchison Port Holdings, and CFO at i-Cable Communications.
