Singapore – The StarHub TVB Awards is returning for a third year. The awards aims to accord recognition to TVB productions and artistes for outstanding works over the past year. Winners will be announced on 18 August at the awards ceremony held at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre.

There are 19 award categories this year, out of which nine are opened for public voting.  These include My Favourite TVB Male and Female Characters, My Favourite TVB Drama, My Favourite Onscreen Couple and the highly-coveted My Favourite Actor and Actress awards. Public votes for the 2012 event increased three-fold, near the 200,000 mark.
