Singapore – Mediacorp announced that Man Shu Sum, Managing Director of MediaCorp Raintree Pictures, has resigned from the company. Man’s last official day is August 31.
MediaCorp Deputy CEO Chang Long Jong will take over the movie business unit from September 1. Chang told TODAY Online that moving forward, the company will continue to focus on movie investments, the Singapore market as well as collaborations with companies in China.
Man, who has more than 30 years experience in the Asian media industry, joined Raintree Pictures in December 2009. Prior to that, he was the CEO of Mark Burnett Productions Asia.
