Singapore – Universal Networks International (UNI) has appointed Ramez Sheikh as Vice President, Network Development & Distribution, for the Asia-Pacific region. Based in Singapore and effective immediately, Sheikh will report to Christine Fellowes, Managing Director, Asia Pacific, UNI.

Sheikh joins UNI, Asia Pacific to grow the distribution of UNI’s portfolio of channel brands—E! Entertainment Television, Style, DIVA Universal, Universal Channel, Syfy, 13th Street Universal and Golf Channel—and develop new business in the region’s emerging markets. The appointment comes after key regional hires in Marketing, Programming and Ad Sales, and further reinforces the company’s focus on accelerating the growth of UNI across the region.

Previously, Sheikh was at The Walt Disney Company where he was Director, Affiliate Sales & Channel Distribution.
