ABC Commercial secured more than 200 hours of sales to international and domestic in-flight entertainment services in the FY 2011 – 2012. These deals were secured as a result of a number of output deals and orders from new partners, from Asia through to the US.
Most recently the current affairs title To Set Before A Queen, was sold to Qantas (1 x 28’) and Paint The Town Black (1 x 26’) was sold to Stellar In-flight. Both programmes look at the champion racehorse, Black Caviar, who took on Europe’s best at Royal Ascot and won, bringing her unbeaten streak to a total of 22 races.
Other concluded deals include: Agony Uncles (6 x 30′ HD), Myf Warhurst’s Nice (6 x 30’), Sporting Nation (3 x 55’ HD) and Romeo And Juliet (1 x 120′ HD) to Qantas; the sales of comedy series Lowdown (16 x 30’ HD) to Finnair, British Airways, Emirates, Air New Zealand, and Air Canada; sports documentary Cup Of Dreams (1 x 60’ HD) to Swissair, Lufthansa, Scandinavian Airlines, Emirates and British Airways; and Arts documentary, Life In Movement (1 x 56’ HD and 1 x 79’ HD) to Lufthansa, Etihad, and Emirates.
