Los Angeles – SDI Media has announced that it has recently opened its expanded state-of-the art facility in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This announcement is the second of a number of facility builds and expansions that SDI has planned for 2012.

The new facility has four newly built studios with individual control rooms as well as a fully enabled subtitling operation, which includes client support, translation and quality control. New services and added support such as subtitling, recording, editing and project management services for dubbing are offered to SDI clients entirely in-house, allowing it to be the one stop solution for end-to-end localisation services in Malaysia.

The Malaysian expansion increases SDI’s service offerings to Malaysia’s growing localisation industry and provides additional support to clients in the surrounding regions. SDI Malaysia is one of SDI’s five facilities in Asia. The company also has a presence in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Taiwan, and Thailand. Its Philippine office is due to open in the third quarter of this year.
