Filming set to commence for The Wedding Diary II

June 25, 2012 by TVA Editor

Singapore – Clover Films, GSC Movies, Mega Cineplex, Asia Tropical Films, Universe Entertainment and STAR Chinese Movies (SCM) have announced their latest collaboration to produce The Wedding Diary II, the sequel to The Wedding Diary, which was a box office hit when it was released in Singapore and Malaysia in February earlier this year.

The Wedding Diary II will reunite the original stellar cast including Malaysian singer-actor-director Aniu, Hong Kong star Elanne Kwong, actress Kara Hui, Singapore veteran actors Jack Choo and Marcus Chin as well as Taiwanese actress Cynthia Wang.

The sequel has a production budget of S$1.2 million and will commence principal photography on June 30 in Singapore and is expected to hit cinemas during the Chinese New Year holidays in February 2013. Filming in Malaysia will be conducted in Penang and Kuala Lumpur in July.
