Kuala Lumpur – MEASAT Satellite Systems Sdn. Bhd. has appointed Anil Abraham as Vice President, Regulatory and Business Affairs.

Prior to joining MEASAT, a supplier of satellite communication services, Abraham was Senior Counsel in the Group Legal Department at Usaha Tegas Sdn. Bhd. Abraham was admitted to the rolls of Solicitors of the Supreme Court of England and Wales and practiced corporate law for several years at various international law firms in London.

Abraham’s responsibilities include overseeing the regulatory activities of the company, with a focus on strengthening the company’s relationships with local and international regulators.  He holds a Bachelor and Master of Laws from King’s College, University of London, and will also be working with MEASAT’s Business Development and Legal departments. He completed his Corporate Legal Practice Course at London’s College of Law.
