Singapore – The Slap, a new award-winning mini-series, will premiere exclusively on Sundance Channel on Singtel’s mio TV from 12 April.
Based on the best-selling novel by Christos Tsiolkas, the eight-part one-hour drama traces the shattering repercussions of a single event upon a group of family and friends. It is a searing and controversial portrait of middle-class life and the mores and morality that shape modern, multicultural Australia.
The premiere of The Slap on Sundance Channel highlights the network’s commitment to delivering bold and uncompromising original programming, films and specials to audiences in Singapore.
The mini-series is produced by Matchbox Pictures for ABC TV Australia, Screen Australia, Film Victoria and DCD Rights.
