London – Paul Robinson, Managing Director of KidsCo, has decided to leave the broadcaster to pursue other professional opportunities. Robinson founded KidsCo along with Sparrowhawk Media in 2005 and he has since spearheaded and driven the company’s international growth. KidsCo’s Board of Directors announced that Hendrik McDermott, a member of NBCUniversal International’s business development team, will serve as interim MD. KidsCo, a joint venture between NBCUniversal International, Corus Entertainment Inc. (Nelvana) and Cookie Jar Entertainment, has grown into a widely distributed global television network. It is currently watched by kids in 98 territories in 18 languages via cable, satellite, and VOD, SVOD and IPTV channels.
