Kuala Lumpur/Paris – Asian branded content company ice-TV, is collaborating with France’s Mistral Productions, to produce the family gameshow format The Biggest Gameshow in the World Asia. The televised programme will see 120 regional contestants from various South East Asian territories battling each other through games, obstacle courses and other visually exciting challenges. Known as It’s a Knockout in the UK and Australia, this prime time format is based on Mistral Production’s international hit series Intercities, and celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2012. Local language versions are also being produced for regional broadcast partners TV5 Philippines, RCTI Indonesia, Ch5/Kantana Thailand and VTC9 Vietnam. Shooting commences early next month, based at a purpose built production hub in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The production will take place over six days, involving more than 100 production crew members.
