London – Lonely Planet is primed to take viewers in the Asia-Pacific on an adventure with the launch of a dedicated travel block. The programming block, debuting on BBC Knowledge in November, will feature new programmes to whet the appetites of travellers and armchair explorers. In Asia, Arctic With Bruce Parry, a five-part documentary series that goes deep into the region, will air in Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Korea on 2 November. While in Australia and New Zealand, Free Rein, which follows screen legends Bryan Brown and Rachel Ward as they set out on an adventure across the Australian outback, starts its journey on 2 November and 12 November respectively. In India, the block will begin on 29 November on BBC Entertainment, as part of the multi-genre schedule that airs in that market.
