London – Little Airplane’s short-form animation series Small Potatoes has premiered in the UK on CBeebies. Little Airplane has secured deals with JEI TV in South Korea and now TV in Hong Kong as a VOD service, bringing the total number of broadcasters who have acquired the show to 12. Following its launch on CBeebies the series is set to air on Disney Junior in the U.S later in the year. Small Potatoes follows the adventures of a band of four singing potatoes. The Small Potatoes are made up of Ruby, who loves dressing up in pretty clothes and being the centre of attention; Nate, the coolest member of the band who can play any instrument going; Olaf the sensible one in the band who’s always looking after the others; and finally Chip, the quirky potato with a very unique perspective on the world.
