Kuala Lumpur – ESPNEWS maintained its run as Malaysia’s top regional English news channel, hitting past the 2 million viewer mark from January to February 2011 and keeping its lead of more than double the viewership against major regional English news networks in the country. During the period of 1 January to 27 February 2011, ESPNEWS had a cumulative reach of 2.125 million viewers for cable viewers aged four and above, compared to 1 million for the combined viewership for the regional English news networks for the same duration. One of the current developments for ESPNEWS is broadcasting the network in languages that will further grow its viewership base and attract new audiences.
