Doha, Qatar – Baraem TV, the Arab pre-school TV channel and member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science, and Community Development (QF) has launched new programming for its young audiences. The launch of the new grid coincides with Baraem’s second anniversary. The new line-up on Baraem TV includes the high definition CGI animated series Everything’s Rosie (26×11′), a co-production between Al Jazeera Children’s Channel (JCC) and UK-based V&S Entertainment with contribution from CBeebies, the BBC’s pre-school children’s channel. Everything’s Rosie has captured the interest of the international market, selling to 146 countries worldwide and airing in different languages; JCC and V&S are currently in production of season 2 and 3 in both Arabic and English. The animation series follows Rosie and her group of loyal friends as they embark on a journey of fun and discovery while learning important values, social skills and life lessons. The new programme line-up on Baraem TV also features the series Captain Karim Qitar Al Hekayat. This unique programme combines animation with live-action to introduce pre-schoolers to the world of storytelling and reading.
