Los Angeles – Shine International and Fox International Channels (FIC) have reached an exclusive agreement, whereby the international channel network acquired a significant volume of more than 120-hours of US entertainment programming for its broadcast service across 30 territories in Asia Pacific. Comprising US TV hits including Masterchef, Got To Dance, Archer and The Buried Life, Shine International’s acclaimed slate of TV series will reach more than 750 million FIC cumulative households in the region through the network’s four main entertainment channel brands of FOX, Star World, FX and FOX Crime. These shows will be aired on both the standard-definition (SD) and high-definition (HD) versions of the above channels. FIC has also committed to producing one of Shine International’s series formats, details of which would be divulged later this year. “Shine International is more focused than ever on the Asian market, and we’re thrilled to announce this deal with our partners at Fox International Channels in Asia as we head into one of the most important markets of the year,” said Chris Grant, president of Shine International.
