Hong Kong – Global market research company Synovate announced that it has restructured its senior leadership team and operations in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan to form a new Greater China business unit, which includes all of the company’s offices in these three markets: Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Hong Kong and Taipei. Eliza Wong has been named CEO for Synovate Greater China and will be leading this new business unit. She will oversee the existing leadership teams in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, and will work closely with them to ensure that their clients continue to receive the best resources, knowledge, data and quality from Synovate. Wong joined Synovate in 2005 as operations director. Prior to joining Synovate, she worked for ACNielsen and Environics West in both Hong Kong and Canada. She began her career in Hong Kong, is a trained accountant and has worked in managerial roles in both client and agency-side companies across Asia and North America.
