Hong Kong – PCCW’s now TV has secured the exclusive PGA TOUR broadcasting rights in Hong Kong and will cover all PGA TOUR events live, featuring over 39 PGA TOUR tournaments and three World Golf Championships every season, for the next four seasons. The new deal will provide now TV the rights to deliver the full coverage of the PGA TOUR and PGA Tour Playoffs, World Golf Championships, Champions Tour and Nationwide Tour. Tournament previews, highlights, player interviews and other special features will give golf fans an in-depth look into the PGA TOUR. In addition to English-language commentaries, local experts will offer professional analysis and insights into the tournaments in Cantonese. The broadcast partnership between PGA TOUR and now TV for the next four seasons begins in January 2011. Detailed broadcasting arrangement of the tournaments will be announced in due course. A selection of PGA TOUR tournaments will be available within the Mega Sports Pack. In addition, a new dedicated channel will deliver comprehensive coverage of the PGA TOUR to golf fans. now TV will also be extending the content to customers via PCCW’s quadruple-play platforms – now TV, now.com.hk, PCCW mobile and PCCW eye2.
