Miami – Telemundo Internacional continues with a strong presence in China, airing several successful titles on CCTV for the last seven years. Currently, Chinese viewers are enjoying three daily episodes of the telenovela Marina from 11:50 to 14:20. The international hit premiered on 13 May 2010. Marina follows a long list of Telemundo Internacional productions that have achieved excellent results in China including Zorro: The Sword and the Rose, Hidden Passion, and Sophia among others. During the next few months another production, Analia, will be premiering in the Asian country. Xavier Arsitimuño, Telemundo Internacional’s VP of sales and business development in Asia said, “Our presence in China is an example of how we continue to invest time and resources in Asia. This region continues to show a strong growth, promising to become a common destination for original and high quality Spanish-language content such as Telemundo Internacional’s offer.” Telemundo Internacional’s solid positioning in China is the result of the company’s continuous efforts to build strong business relationships in the region. During the recent Shanghai TV Festival, the company’s sales team held many meetings with numerous top TV executives of the region to continue developing business ventures in the territory.
