Serving as buddies to Animax viewers and bringing the latest updates on the regional youth scene, the Ani-mates are currently featuring on TV, in online activities and campaigns, as well as at on-ground events. Original content available only on the web from Stephanie and Alodia have driven a massive hike in web traffic to the Animax Asia home website (www.animax-asia.com). Regularly updated each week, exclusive online content includes the duo’s video blogs, pictures and personal thoughts on all that matters to the youths in the Philippines and across Asia. In fact, the Ani-mates microsite at www.animax-asia.comani-mates clocked over 48,000 page views including more than 41,000 unique page views in just three weeks of its launch. This surge contributed to an overall growth of online traffic to the Animax Asia home website by more than 17 percent, with the home site registering more than 400,000 page views in total over the 3-week period. In addition, visitors also stayed longer at the Animax Asia website and viewed more pages as average time spent at the site went up 10% to almost 5 minutes, while average number of pages visited rose by about 50 percent up to almost 6 pages.
