New York – Rainbow Media has secured licensing from Taiwan’s National Communications Commission (NCC) that will allow for WE tv’s launch in the country. The news comes just months after WE tv’s launches in Hong Kong, Korea and Singapore. WE tv – via its dedicated MEASAT 3a feed – is available for launch in Taiwan both in high and standard definition, and in English with Traditional Mandarin subtitles.
