Beijing – China’s 3G users have exceeded 20 million within one year since last May, and are estimated to reach 150 million by the end of next year, according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the Economic Daily reported. The recent MIIT report shows that in the first quarter of 2010, the China Mobile TD network has covered over 238 cities, and its rival, China Unicom, has built 335 WCDMA networks, while China Telecom made 342 networks. In all, China’s 3G base-stations have reached over 367,000 in number.
