Singapore – Channel NewsAsia has won one Gold World Medal and three Bronze World Medals at the 2010 New York Festivals International Television & Film Awards. The results, announced at the New York Festival’s 53rd gala event in Manhattan on 3 May 2010, are its best showing ever at the Festivals and cover both wins for programmes and promotions. Promotion wins include Life After People, a Gold World Medal in the Information/Magazine Program Promotion category; and All-Day Business News Promo, a Bronze World Medal in the News Promotion category. Programme wins include Scene City: Singapore – Living Spaces, a Bronze World Medal in the Educational/Instructional category; and It’s Organic, a Bronze World Medal in the Environment & Ecology category.
