National Geographic Television International (NGTI) has confirmed a number of pre-sales for its exclusive new programme Inside the Obama White House. Produced by National Geographic Television for PBS, Inside the Obama White House follows the President, via his official photographer, into key political and social situations – from giving speeches and hosting major events, to playing with Bo, the family dog. The frenetic pace of everyday life in the West Wing is captured for the first time, along with journeys onboard Air Force One and behind- the-scenes meetings with heads of state and former Presidents. Viewers will also get a unique insight into the everyday life of the First Lady, Michelle Obama. The programme proved much in demand when filming was initially announced at Mipcom 2009. Amongst the broadcasters who have come onboard with pre-sales are Network 10 Australia and Metro News Indonesia. A number of other deals are also in the pipeline.
