Cannes, MIPTV – Comcast International Media Group (CIMG) unveiled a host of licensing deals for its E! Entertainment Television, The Style Network, G4 and Golf Channel titles, totaling over 270 hours for the territories of Australia, India, Malaysia and Thailand. In Australia, Fuel TV has acquired G4’s popular series International Sexy Ladies Show as well as Web Soup, which will be localized for the region. Additionally, ONE HD has licensed a slew of Golf Channel titles including Golf Central, Fore Inventors Only, School of Golf, Tiger: Nike Access Granted, Tiger Woods Clinic, The Big Break seasons one and two, as well as select episodes from Playing Lessons. Zee Café in India has picked up the network’s signature daily series E! News. Malaysia’s ntv7 has acquired top titles from The Style Network, including seasons one and two of Style Her Famous as well as three seasons of Dress My Nest. In Thailand, True Inside has licensed seasons two and three of Style Her Famous, while True Xzyte has picked up E! specials Wildest Cop Show Moments, Wildest Wedding Show Moments, Wildest TV Commercial Moments and 20 Most Horrifying Hollywood Murders. Both channels are owned and operated by True Visions PLC. CIMG has also secured the exclusive worldwide distribution rights for over 200 hours of motor sports programming, the announcement was made by Duccio Donati, executive vice president, CIMG. The programs, which are all available in HD 16 x 9, are coming off of successful runs on the popular Latin-American motor channel, El Garage. The pick-ups continue CIMG’s strategy to expand and diversify its distribution catalog, which already has such diverse male-skewing product as golf, surfing, hunting, fishing and gaming.
