Hong Kong – STAR Greater China announced a multi-year licensing renewal deal with Media Prima Berhad. Under the agreement, Media Prima will license from STAR the television rights to over 20 Fortune Star Library blockbusters including The Fist of Fury by Bruce Lee; Three Jet Li titles, including Once Upon a Time in China series and Black Mask, and Seven Jacky Chan titles, including Police Story series, Dragon Lord, Winners and Sinners, City Hunter and My Lucky Stars. The titles will be shown on Media Prima’s four free-TV channels, TV3, 8TV, TV9 and NTV7. Fortune Star Library has recently expanded its portfolio by adding over 100 titles acquired from China STAR Group companies which include blockbusters such as Andy Lau’s Running Out of Time, Cecilia Cheung’s Mighty Baby, and Sammi Cheng’s Needing You, some of which are included in the agreement with Media Prima.
