Singapore – Irdeto has been awarded ‘Best Software Partner’ by ZTE Corporation in recognition for the OMA DRM (Digital Rights Management) client solutions deployed by ZTE to secure rich media content delivery for major telecoms operators and customers around the world. The partnership between Irdeto and China’s ZTE, commenced a year ago in February 2009, and has seen Irdeto’s OMA DRM client solutions for mobile technologies implemented by more than 10 mobile operators as part of ZTE’s global business expansion. Irdeto’s OMA DRM solutions enable content to be widely distributed among mobile users while ensuring that content delivery is secure and IP (Intellectual Property) rights are well-protected. They also conform to stringent operator and device requirements and provide a simplified integration process that accelerates network deployment on Windows Mobile platform devices – from the less-robust feature phones to the highest performance smartphones.
