New York – Production has commenced on in the QUBE, a half-hour entertainment magazine style program designed for distribution on every platform-broadcast, web, console and mobile. In the QUBE is the first original series created specifically for the global audience of Sony Pictures Television’s worldwide Animax channel, which is currently available in over 60 countries. in the QUBE is produced by Embassy Row, and distributed by SPT. Hosted by Maria Sansone (LX TV New York, TV Guide Channel, PopTub on YouTube) and Tom Hatton (Law & Order SVU, Life on Mars), in the QUBE is a fast-paced trip around the world, featuring movies, video games, music, freestyle sports and the people who are defining what’s new and exciting in entertainment on an international level. in the QUBE will be shot in HD and is cleared for all platforms, including broadcast, online and mobile. in the QUBE is expected to premiere in several Animax territories around the world starting in March 2010. The show will also air on Sci-Fi Channel Australia and the PlayStation Network in Europe.
