Singapore – Research from TNS Singapore showed that HBO captured the top spot as the highest rated channel and also attained the highest share among English movie and general entertainment channels in Singapore during the Lunar New Year from 14 to 21 February 2010. Eight out of the top 10 movies that week were on HBO. The highest rated movie among English movie and general entertainment channels in Singapore during that period was Kung Fu Panda on HBO scoring a rating of 1.48% amongst Cable Age 4+ with a universe of 2.4 million. Kung Fu Panda also had a whopping 95% share among the premium English movie channels at the time of telecast. Kung Fu Panda was available as a dual language option in English and Mandarin. On a year-to-date basis, Kung Fu Panda is also the top programme amongst all English movie and general entertainment channels in Singapore. Other top 10 movies on HBO that week included Hollywood blockbusters such as Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, I Am Legend, Hancock, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, Jurassic Park and Rush Hour 2.
