Paris – Reed MIDEM, the Paris-based organizer of international exhibitions, announced the appointment of Laurine Garaude as the company’s Television Division Director, effective immediately. She will have direct management responsibility for Reed MIDEM’s television and digital content events MIPTV, MIPDOC, MIPCOM and MIPJunior. Garaude joined Reed MIDEM in 1993 to launch MILIA, the world’s interactive content market, which she successfully ran for over 10 years before the unification of MILIA and MIPTV. In 2004, she was named Reed MIDEM’s Director of Customer Relationship Marketing and Product Development, a post she held until January 2009, when she became the company’s acting Television Division Director.
