Hong Kong – US drama and entertainment channel FOX started its roll-out in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia from 25 December 2009. Ward Platt, president of Fox International Channels Asia told Television Asia Plus that the launch of Fox would start in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia from 25 December 2009. “We have secured carriage deals for this channel with PCCW, Indovision, ASTRO, StarHub, Skycable, Destiny and VSTV.” Platt said the channel is launching with first run series such as NCIS (US’s No.1 drama), Lie to Me, Flash Forward, White Collar and Burn Notice. FOX targets male and female viewers age 16-39; it currently reaches more than 47 million homes in Japan, Korea and the Middle East.
