Hong Kong – SPE Networks – Asia (SPENA) announced the appointment of broadcast veteran, Ashok Miranda, as director of creative services for AXN and AXN BEYOND. A multi-award winning creative professional with over 18 years of international media experience, Miranda will head the creative services team, in-charge of on-air promotions and branding for AXN and AXN BEYOND. He succeeds Jacky Foo, who was appointed in May 2009 to head SPENA’s Taiwan office. Miranda comes fresh from a 10-year stint with the Disney Channel, where he pioneered its in-channel creative services department and led them to win nine Promax World and Asia creative awards.
