Tokyo – Toei Company, Ltd. announced that Kamen Rider Dragon Knight, the 40-episode half-hour live action kids sci-fi series, will air on the Toei Channel and Toei Channel HD in Japan for its debut this fall. In addition to its cable television broadcast on the Toei Channels, Toei Company, Ltd. has set summer 2010 for the DVD release of the series in Japan. Filled with Hollywood-style high action and special effects, Kamen Rider Dragon Knight follows the heroic adventures of teenager Kit Taylor, who discovers a mysterious deck of Advent Cards that grant him the power to transform into an ancient armored warrior called a Kamen Rider. He joins his comrade, Kamen Rider Wing Knight, to battle the alien renegade warlord, General Xaviax, and his army in both the real world and an alternate reality called Ventara, or the Mirror World.
