Philippines – Online Pinoy video channel, Flippish.com celebrated its official launch, with a party held at Fiama in Makati. The event marked a milestone in the entertainment industry, as it introduced Philippine society to a new form of media. Roxanne Barcelo, also known for her role as Xandy on Flippish, was the host for the evening. The program began with a performance by the band Indios; the first band featured on Flippish.com’s hit show, LSS. The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Flippish ViPs. According to Chris Tan, executive producer of Flippish.com, “Flippish.com is a culmination of a lot of great talent, it is a lot of teamwork put together to make this dream happen. It is because of that team effort that we’re able to give entertainment, not just to Pinoys, but to people all over the world.” Behind Flippish.com is a group of fresh, young individuals who write, produce, and edit their own shows. Chrina Cuna, Kring Elenzano, Dos Ocampo, Roman Olivarez, and Jav Velasco are the video producers who are known as the Flippish ViPs.
