Singapore – CNBC announced the appointment of Jane Wang as vice president of advertising sales, China. Wang will report to Toby Hayward, senior vice president, advertising sales, CNBC Asia Pacific. Shanghai-based Wang will oversee CNBC’s advertising sales and marketing operation for China. She will work with CNBC’s partner, the Shanghai Media Group, on marketing CNBC related programmes on China Business News as well as promoting CNBC Global to China based clients. Wang last held the position of vice president of sponsorship & advertising sales and general manager for Viacom Asia Inc in Shanghai, MTV Networks Shanghai Representative Office.
