Under the deal with Baidu, 500 hours of Chinese dramas will be available via streaming on Baidu’s filmed entertainment channel, Baidu. Talks are also underway with Baidu to increase the number of hours from the current 500 to 2000 in two years’ time, as well as extending the content to include other non-drama genres. Baidu currently offers users a wide range of programming free-of-charge. Ten Singaporean titles were made available on Kylin TV since the end of 2008, with plans for more hours to be added in the near future.
