Hong Kong – Asia Television (ATV) has named Nancy Hu Gin-Ing as its new CEO. Hu will report to the boards of directors of ATV, effective immediately. Hu will fill the vacancy left by Ricky Wong Wai-Kay, the former ATV chairman who resigned after being on board for only 12 days in December 2008. Hu is a certified public accountant and veteran in the media and telecommunications industry, and was most recently vice- chairman/president of Videoland in Taiwan from 2003 to 2008. Prior to that, she was general manager for etKING Media Technology.
