Korea – The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) has said that it plans to speed up exports of homegrown IPTV, Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB) and Wireless Broadband (WiBRO) technologies, according to reports in local news portal ETNews, and will launch marketing strategies based on its market research. KOTRA has reportedly designated the US and Eastern Europe as its target markets for IPTV technology exports, Europe and Southeast Asia as its target markets for DMB exports, and Latin America as its target market for WiBRO exports. For IPTV exports, the agency reportedly plans to establish a consortium for targeting the international market, supporting cooperation between small and medium businesses (SMBs), as well as establishing measures for the joint launch of new products and the improvement of brand image.
