Tokyo – FremantleMedia Asia has announced the appointment of Shingo Ishiyama as the president and representative director of FremantleMedia Japan, K.K. Before joining Fremantle, Shingo spent 21 years at Fuji Television Network and held a variety of positions in programming, production, sales, and strategic planning. Shingo was also general manager of Fuji’s Los Angeles office from 2001-2003. He was most recently board member, deputy president & general manager of Animax Broadcast Japan, a joint venture between Sony Pictures Entertainment and four major Japanese animation studios. Shingo will be based in Fremantle’s Tokyo office and will report to Patrick Schult, FremantleMedia Asia’s MD based in Singapore.
