Tokyo – Yoshinori Imai, vice president of NHK has been elected as the new president of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU). Imai said, “I’ve worked for more than forty years as a broadcast journalist and a highlight of my career has been my association with the ABU. It is time for me to take a more active role in the undertakings of the ABU.”
