Hong Kong – Soumitra (Sunny) Saha, senior vice president and general manager, Turner Entertainment Networks Asia (TENA) has announced the appointment of Lucien Harrington to the newly created position of vice president, branding & communications, TENA. Based in TENA’s regional headquarters in Hong Kong, Harrington will work closely with Turner’s senior executive team to develop brand and communication strategies for continued growth and further expansion of its entertainment portfolio in the region. As brand custodian of the Network, Harrington will define and establish the strategic direction for each of the entertainment brands and provide overall leadership to marketing, creative services and public relations. Harrington joins TENA from Advertising Plaza Ltd, where he was the managing director. Previously, he held the position of vice president of marketing, Walt Disney Company, Asia Pacific. Before moving to Asia, Harrington held several marketing positions at Walt Disney Television International which launched Disney and Playhouse Channels in over 20 countries around the world, culminating in his assignment to Tokyo where he played a lead role in the launch of the Disney Channel in Japan.
