The cultural and entertainment Japanese TV show, NEXT from NHK (Nippon Hoso Kyokai) will have a special about RCTV International’s telenovela Passionate Revenge (La Trepadora) on November 30. The 50 minutes program is broadcasted by satellite channel BS1 every Sunday at 9pm to give the Japanese audience knowledge about the different cultures that exist throughout the hemisphere. Passionate Revenge was selected to represent Venezuela as an icon of the telenovela gender producers of which RCTV is most well known in the Latin-American Television culture. Passionate Revenge is based on the original masterpiece of Romulo Gallegos, one of the most important and genuine representatives writers of the Venezuelan and Latin America literature.
