Mumbai – Star announced the upcoming launch of its third regional language general entertainment channel, Star Pravah, launching across the state of Maharashtra in mid-November. The channel will feature a mix of talk-shows, historical epics and comedies. One of the channel’s marquee programs at launch is the epic series Raja Shivchhatrapati, which is based on Shivaji, the great Maratha warrior king. Pravah represents Star’s third foray into the regional language general entertainment space, following on the footsteps of Vijay (Tamil) and the recently launched STAR Jalsha (Bengali).
