Power delivers a new slate for MIPCOM which comprises epic action adventure series with a diverse mix of mini-series and TV movies – from innovative contemporary and classical drama to gripping conspiracy thrillers. This includes Crusoe, the 13 part action drama currently filming on location in South Africa. The series airs its first episode on NBC on October 17 and stars Sam Neill and Mia Maestro. Power mini-series headlining MIPCOM are The Diplomat, The Devil’s Mistres, The Day of the Triffids and Pinocchio, The Summit, and XIII. The Diplomat is a fast paced political thriller, starring Dougray Scott, Claire Forlani and Richard Roxburgh. The Devil’s Mistress is a bold and uncompromising drama, starring Bafta award-winning John Simm (Life on Mars) and Dominic West (The Wire). The Day of the Triffids is a sci-fi thriller with a contemporary take on John Wyndham’s International bestseller.
