Hong Kong – The roll-call for the CASBAA Convention 2008 in Hong Kong on October 28 – 30, has received a major boost. Asia’s 280 million subscription television subscribers are served by more than 500 pay-TV networks scrambling to serve almost 100 pay-TV platforms and 3 billion consumers. During the Convention, there will be a back-to-basics debate for the Asia Pacific regional industry leaders to deconstruct the building blocks for revenue generating linear pay-TV services, including subscription and advertising.
