MediaCorp Studios recently closed its biggest deal this year by selling 95 hours of Chinese drama to Guangdong Southern Film & TV Programs Co Ltd (Guangdong Southern) earlier this month. The titles sold include contemporary dramas such as Dear Dear Son – in – law, Honour and Passion, La Femme and The Golden Path. Doreen Neo, MediaCorp Studios’ senior vice president of chinese entertainment productions & studios business says, “Our dramas have been aired on Guangdong TV and Southern TV since the early 1990s. We are happy to note that our drama productions continue to entertain viewers in Guangdong. We hope that Singapore – made productions will become the next wave to hit China.”
