New York – VOOM HD Networks, Singapore’s Mega Media and the Media Development Authority of Singapore (MDA) have renewed series Spa Seekers and Appetizing Adventures with Luke Mangan for a second season. Generated from the trio’s co-production pact in 2005, new episodes of both series will go into production in the coming months. With episodes shot in various Asian spas, Spa Seekers follows the travels of two sisters to different spa resorts. Appetizing Adventures with Luke Mangan follows the Australian chef on a culinary road trip across Asia seeking inspiration for new dishes for his restaurants in Sydney, Tokyo and San Francisco. Both series will air on VOOM HD Networks’ ULTRA HD channel in the US, as well as on the international VOOM HD channel. The series are also represented by distributor 668. Other HD co-productions generated by the partners include action sports series BMX P.I.G. and Metro BMX Jam: Singapore; computer gaming documentary New Revolution; fashion reality series Style Me with Rachel Hunter; travel documentaries Ultra Eye Tokyo and Ultra Eye Singapore; and sports documentaries Beyond the Edge – F1 Powerboats, Rainforest Challenge: Muds, Guts and Glory, Planet Parkour Singapore and Hope on the Andaman Coast – a Cliff Diving Expedition.
