Singapore – StarHub, Singapore’s official broadcaster of the UEFA EURO 2008 European football championships will offer all matches live across cable TV, mobile and online platforms, with viewers able to purchase from April 2, 2008, the StarHub UEFA EURO 2008 Season Pass for the telecast package. The football tournament will be held from June 8-30, 2008 in Austria and Switzerland. UEFA EURO 2008 StarHub Premium (Channel 30) will telecast the main feed for the event with all matches except the four simulcast group stage matches live. UEFA EURO 2008 StarHub HD (Channel 304), accessible via StarHub’s HD set-top box and a HD-ready TV sets, will also telecast all matches in HD, with the exception of the four simulcast group stage matches. In addition, StarHub will provide an enhanced TV (eTV) service which includes multi-camera views of the matches, content including team line-ups, half-time and full-time scores, statistics on ball possession, shots on- and off- target, corners, free kicks, fouls, group information, top scorers, team and player profiles, as well as fixture listings and telecast details. Matches will be available online and over mobile at no additional cost to StarHub MaxOnline broadband customers and mobile post-paid customers with the Season Pass. The Season Pass is available for a one-off fee, S$10.70 for StarHub Digital Cable Sports Group customers on or before May 8, 2008, or S$21.40 thereafter; and S$53.50 for non-Sports Group customers. Four matches including the tournament’s opener between Switzerland and Czech Republic on June 8, the two semi-finals and the final, will be telecast free to all viewers in Singapore, with details to be announced
