London – Granada International will launch Headcases, a new comedy series that satires celebrities and politicians at MIPTV 2008. The series was produced by ITV Productions for ITV1 Headcases was creaed by Henry Naylor and his team in association with animation house Red Vision to feature more than 60 characters including Hollywood celebrities, politicians, members of the royalty and sporting figures. These include Amy Winehouse, David and Victoria Beckham, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Madonna and Bono, as well as political figures such as Gordon Brown, George Bush, Vladimir Putin and Nicolas Sarkozy, in absurd and surreal surroundings created using CGI animation.
