Cannes – Comcast International Media Group (CIMG) has inked various carriage deals in Africa and Europe for E! International Network, bringing the 24-hour Hollywood celebrity and entertainment channel to 75million homes outside of the US. CIMG closed new carriage agreements with African satellite TV platform Multichoice in Angola and Mozambique; Croatian telco and IPTV operator T-Com; Portuguese telco PT Telekom; and Serbian cable operator SBB; as well as renewed its contract with UK broadband service provider Virgin Media. E! Entertainment offers a mix of topical programming with reality shows including Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Snoop Dogg’s Fatherhood, and The Girls of the Playboy Mansion, as well as E!’s signature Live from the Red Carpet coverage. In the US, E! Entertainment achieved its most watched quarter in Q1 2008, averaging 371,000 total viewers, and the highest rated quarter among Adults & Women 18-34 and Adults & Women 18-49.
